The following cablegram has been rccoivcd from the board of directors of the Talisman Consolidated Company by the local ottice "Report and ba!ar.ce-?heet will bo circulated on June 12. The accounts show a grcss profit of £112,7C2 and a net profit of £l';£)/;7i, after allowing for taxes and depreciation. There was • brought forward, after allowing for the spcci.il bonuo dividend, £23,177. The amounts of the dividend paid during the year totalled £11'0,447, leaving £23,201 to be carried forward. "The expenditure on machinery and plant during the past three years amounted to £80,CCD. t and after allowing for £SCCO depreciation provided out of share premium, and £2762 out of profit and loss account, there is a cash balance of £35,443; bullion in transit, £25,729; new share issue calls outstanding and not due, £14,515; share premium account balance after allowiug for above depreciation (£5000), £6613; nundry creditors, £10,131. The estimate of reserves of ore as at February 23, 1911 (on a conservative basis) is 49.703 tons, average value of same, £6 os. sd. per tou." DREDGING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.)
