A REFORM BILL. By Telegraph—Press Association—CoDyrleht Rome, June 11. The Electoral Reform Bill adds 2,6-12,000 electors to the rolls, making eighty-two per cent, of the men of full age eligible to vote. Members of the Chamber of Deputies are to bo paid GOOO lire (about .£240) per (ihnum. Signor Giolitti, the new Premier of Italy, is undertaking a notable programme of reforms. The following are tho principal items in the policy which he recently outlined':--State mononoly of insurance, the ontiro profits of which will go to an old age and'invalidity fund for workmen. Tho extension of tho suffrage to all adults who have served their time in the army or navy, or have reached the age of thirty. Payment of Deputies in order to facilitate the entry of workmen into Parliament. No further increases in expenditure. The normal increase of revenue to be used for lightening the burden in taxation on the poorer classes.
