A TRAVELLER'S IMPRESSIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association-Oooyrieht Sydney, June 12. Sir Hartley Williams, a retired Judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria, who is re-visiting Australia, spent several weeks in Japan. He says the anxiety of the Japanese to build a powerful navy is undiminished, and that notwithstanding assurances to the contrary, Japanese eyes are turned .towards Australia. They are questioning themselves regarding our empty places. Sir Hartley Williams urges the necessity for Australia ,jrliE)so,, empty places.
