Mr. Newton K-ng, New Plymouth, supplies tho following weekly report:—At Rahotii. on Tuesday, there was an average yardhiE and Rood attendance, with good competition for nearly' all lintu. Calves and storo cows wore in irood demand, and sold at improved rates. Small calves made 17s to 225. 6d.: good do., 255. to 3te.: 15' to 18niontha heifers, Hi 2e.; Jorjey hoifer calves. Ms. 6d.; Vi to 3-year heifers, in calf, £3 lOf. to £4 Us.: fat cows. J* us.|io *:6 95.: storo cowc Rl Ife- to Si 100. At Puiikorehu. on Wednesday. I held a clearing sa'.o on account- of 3lr. Smithem, wlicn, in spile of the rain, there was a rood attendance, and satisfactory prices were realised for both live and dead stock. Tho cows werp a good lot, and any showing ouaHty and forward sold really well. Early culvers made £6 10s. to .fill 10s.; late do., Mb 103. to £6 10s;: springine heifers, £5 to £5 lCs.: yearling heifers, £2 75.; sundries and furniture made satisfactory prices. At Waiwakaiho, on Thursday, cattle' c.-ime forward in excess of advertised anrt thero was a good attendance. Several
