0 DETERMINED CHARGE ON A COLUMN. By Teleeraph—Press Association-Copyright Tangier, June 7. Moorish horsemen fiercely attacked General Moinicr's French column at Ras-el-Ma, about ten milps south of Fez, in the Sherarada tribe's territory. They charged to within a Inmdred yards of tho enemy, in face of heavy rifle and machinc-gun fire, and suffered heavily. Tho French lost a surgeon-major, three soldiers, and thirteen soldiers were wounded. The attack lasted eight hours. Anxiety is felt regarding six American missionaries in Mekinez. The Berbers are calling tho people to a lioly war. TRIBESMEN MURDER THEIR . DAUGHTERS. Fez, June 7. Tho Beniutir tribe, following tho tribal custom when in desperato straits, are bringing their daughters bound to the villages, carrying them before them on horses. On arrival, they are cutting the girls' throats before the dwellings of the chiefs tlioy wish to propitiate.
