WILL BUTTER MARKET COLLAPSE?
The butter market in London must inevitably collapse, according to the correspondent of tho. Sydney "Telegraph." The writer adds that thero are 'signs that the collapse is near at hand. Writing on April 28 he said:—'Tino sprin? weather prevails in England and on tlie Continent, and n. great increase in the make of butter is tho natural sequel. Heavy arrivals of Siberian butter have come on the market, and yesterday the Danisli official quotation was lowered by i kroner. Under these circumstances the fall in values of colonial cannot be long delayed, and the downward movement seoiiis already to have commenced."
