Within a few. days those travelling to or from New Zealand in vessels equipped with wireless telegraphy, or those on shore hero having friends on such vessels will bo able to communicate thou"h hundreds of miles of ocean Ho between. The charge for telegraphing vessels at sea or vice versa will bo lOd. per word (ot winch the ship receives 4d.), a rato recently fixed by the Fijian and Australian Governments. This charge will it is assumed, only be mado if communi cation is established.
