Messrs. Dalgety and Co. report:—At the Feilding sale yesterday, there was a fair yarding of sheep and a small yarding of cattle. Sheep: Two and four-tooth cull wethers, 7s. Id.; good ewe lambs, 7s. 7d.: s.m. ewes, 3s. Id.- Cattle: Jersey cows, £7 103.; Jersey heifers, to £9 155.; cows in calf, £4 2s. 6d. : . ..
Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Ltd. (Feilding branch), report for tho week ending June 2 as follows:—At Eangiwahia. on Tuesday we had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle. Sheep were dull of sale, but cattle sold well. We cuote: Fat and forward ewes, 10s. 3d. to 10s. 6d.; forward empty ewes, Os.; mixed lambs (small), 2s. to 45.: twentymonths steers, £3 7s. to £3 12s. 6d.; wcaners (small), 145.-6 d.-' At Feilding on Friday we yarded 16C0 sheep of various classes, and succeeded in disposing of every pen at slightly advanced rates. Wo had n good entry of cattle, tho main lino consisting 140 bullocks, which, however, were passed in at auction. We quote as foUows:—Cull ewes in lamb. 3s. 5d., 3s. 6d.; mixed lambs, 3s. 10d.; empty ewes, is. 3d.; wether lambs, 5s Bd.; empty owes. 65.; mixed lambs, ss. ICd. to 63. Id.; lambs, off rape, ss. Bd. to 7s. 6d.; ewes in lamb, 7s. Ltd.; empty ewes, 95.; two-tooth wethers, ICe. Id., lis. lid.; two nnd four-tooth wethers, 125.; fat ewes, lis. to 12s. 4d.; small two-tooth wethers. 9?.. 7d.; weancr hcifcTs. 275. 6d.: store cows, £2 10s.; snringine heifcrc, £4 2s. 6d.; springing cows, £4 Bs.
Jfr. Newton King's weekly report states: —At Urenui on Jlonday there was a small yardinc, and bidding was nuict. Calves made 16s. to 215.; heifer do., 325. 6d.: eight-cen-months to two-year heifers, £3 155.; cighteen-months steers. £3 55.; store cows, £3 Is.; two and a half-year steers, £4 2s. 6d.: four-topth wethers, 14s. 6d. Furniture nnd sundries on account of Jlr. D 0 Shute mode satisfactory prices. At. Stratford on Tuesday there was a good varding principally of grown cattle. Bidding dragged for nearly all classes except store cows and weaners, which fullv maintained late values. Calves made 16s. 6d.: good do.. 285.: heifer do., 235. to 365. 6d.; two and a half-year to three-year heifers in calf. £4 ISa. to £5 125.; eightceu-nionMis empty heifers (Jersev strain), £4 10s. ■ itore cows £2 17s. to £3 35. ; forward do.. £4 6s. to £4 10s.: fat do.. £5 to £6. Jlr. Simon's dairy herd met with good competition, and sold as follows:—Young and early cnlvers £5 10s. to £8 15.1.; aged and late do £2 15s. to £5. At.
