TO-DAY'S DINNER. (Specially wrillcu (or The Dominion.) SATURDAY. Vegetable Sou;). Grilled Steak. Chip Potatoes. Vegetable .Marrow. Raspberry Pudding. SUNDAY. White Soup. Colonial (.loose. Cabbage. Baked Potatoes. Carrot Pudding. surra*. Rabbit Pie. Mashed Potatoes. Salad. Orange Pudding. CAKKOT PUDDING. 1 cupful of grated carrots, 1 cupful of grated potatoes, 1 cupful of brown sugar, 1 cupful of chopped suet, 1 cupful of stoned raisins, 1 cupful of currants. 2 scant cupfuls of sifted flour, 1 teaspoonful of mixed spices, i teaspoonful of nutmeg, i teaspoonful of salt, 1 teaspoonful of soda, -2 tab'.ospoonfuls of boiling water. Mix all thoroughly, then add the soda dissolved in tho boiling water and steam for three 'hours. Serve with plain white Kiuco flavoured with vinegar. A cupful of cherries, peaches, strawberries, or pineapple added to this pudding are a great improvement.
