KAKARIKI SAVAGE CLUB.

The third korera of the Kakariki Savag" Club, which was held last cveniug ill Wvatt's "kainga," Worser Bay, was easily the most successful to date. Thb liapii. mustered .in full force, and was joined by a number of friends, but w|mc chiefly made the occasion joyous was the presence of a party of Wellington Savages. The guests were welcomed by Chief Savage C. Cuming, who had with him in the ceremonial wluire. the patron, Mr. J. P. Luke, M.P.. Messrs. D. Kenny, 11. Robertson. Borneo Gardiner, and Fletcher made mirth and melody in..their several characteristic ways. Visitors who gave highly-appreciated contributions to the entertainment included Messrs. Allan (tenor) and Sehaclit (violinist). The whe.ro, which was constructed by members of the local tribe, was much admired. It is felt, after last night's korero, that the success of the season is assured.
