The second term for the Wellington Girls' Collego begins on Tuesday, June G. Some four months ago tho announcement was made that Dr. Johnson's house in Gou"h Square, off Fleet Street, had been bought I)}' an anonymous purchaser, and was to be placed in the hands ot trustees as a national memorial to Ihe great man. It has now become known that Ihe purchaser is Mr. Ceeil Harmsworlh, and it is now announced that the house will be dedicated as national property "as soon as suitable, arrangements can lie made." The house has been put into a good state of repair at a cost of some hundreds of pounds, care being taken (o preserve tho characteristic features of the interior, which is in much the same condition as when Dr. Johnson lived there from 171S to 17SS. It was in Gough Square that Dr. Johnson toiled at his celebrated dictionary.
