». . ARNST TOO UNWELL TO SIGN ARTICLES. By Telegraph— Press Association—Copyright (Rec. June 1, 1.5 a.m.) Sydney, May 31. The signing of the articles for the raco between R. Arnst, t\i present holder, and Pearce for the sculling championship of the world, did not take place to-day as arranged. At tho meeting of their supporters, Arnst was not present, and Mr. Floyd, on his behalf, stated that tho champion had becomo suddenly indisposed, and feared a return of his recent trouble. It was decided to postpone the signing, as Arnst might he able to sign within a week if everything turned out all right. Pearce was greatly disappointed.
