Colonel Seely, Under-Secretary of State for War, replied to questions in the House of Commons regarding the appointment of Colonel Morgan as messing adviser to the War Office at a salary ,of ,£3OO per annum. The appointment had been criticised, as Colonel Morgan had been invited to retire as the result- of the inquiries after the Boer War. Colonel Seely read a letter in which Sir W. S.
