EGYPTIAN PRINCE & ACTRESS.
■An Egyptian Prince and an actress were .married at tho Strand Registry Oftice, Henrietta Street, Covcnt Garden, recently, says an English paper. The bridegroom was Prince Ibrahim Hassan, the second son of Hassan Pivsha, who was ths fourth brother of tho Khedive's father, and the bride, Miss Ola Humphrey, an American actress. After tho ceremony the couple returned to the Savoy Hotel in the motor-car which had conveyed them to the office, and, after a wedding breakfast, left to spend their honeymoon in Paris. The marriage certificate described the Prince as a bachelor, 32 years of ago, and his residence was' given as the Savoy Hotel. He was further described as a Prince of the Ottoman Em pirn, the son of Ibrahim Hassan, deceased, al«o a Prince of the Ottoman Empire. The brides full name was Pearl Ola Jane Mordant, formerly Humphrey, spinster, aged 27, the divorced wife 'of Edwin Mordant. Her address was also stated to be the Savoy Hotel. Her father, the certificate set out, was Thomas Marshall Humphrey, deceased, furniture manufacturer. There were three witnesses of the marriage, Mr. 'Richard Westacott, tho American Vice-Consul, Oscar Comtc do Nevers, and Mr. J. J. Edwards. Miss Humphrey appeared recently at the Strand Theatre, now the Whitney, in "Thn Man from Mexico." Her first Visit to England took place four years ago. She has also played in Australia and New Zealand, and in America she has appeared in leading roles, including Paula Tanqueray and Hedda. Gabler.
