BISHOP OF SOUTHWARK.
Dr. Nickson, Anglican Bishop Suffragan of Jarrow, has boon ordered by his doclrs complete rest for at least six months. Ho. has, therefore, felt compelled to withdraw his acceptance of the Bishopric of Southwark, to which ho was nominated in February last, in succession to Dr. Tnlb'ot, tho new Bishop of ■Winchester.
