COURSING.

A meeting of the AYeliington Metropolitan Coursing Club was held at the Now Zealander Hotel last night. Mr. P. H. Donoghue presided. '.Hie secretary reported that he had made application to the New Zealand Coursing Association for dates for the club's June and August meetings, which will bo held on June 30, Julv 1, and August 25 or 26, and Mr J. J. O'Donoghuo was instructed to purchase forty strong hares from Mr. Edwin Bull, Canterbury. Mr. AA JSidd has donated a cup, to be competed for at the Juno meeting. A further meeting of the club will take place next Wednesday night. .
