LODGE MEETING.
The fortnightly meeting of Hie Southern Cross Locke 1.0.0. F. was held in the Masonic Hall, Bcmlcott Street, last evening, Bro. A. T. Botlloy presiding over a large attendance. The following nominations were received for the offices of the lodge :—N.G.. Bro. T. A. Habo; V.G.. Bro. I). M'Gillivray; recording secretary, Bro. A. T. Vest;' permanent secrctaTy, Bros. .7. Beck and P-. J. Evnns; treasurer, Bro. I. H. JTeadowcroft. Six candidates were initiated into (lie order, and hvo more were proposed for membership. On behalf of the audit committee, Bro. H.. H. Coote read the report, which stated that the funds (with the exception of the management fund) wero in a very satisfactorv position. The audit committee complimented (he secretary on the manner in which the members' leck'er had been kept. The D.D.G.JI"., Bro. L. T. Bodley, Intimated to the lod<;e the Mayor's desiTe that all friendly societies, etc.. should join in the Coronation procession. This received the approval of the lodge.
