Mr. Lewis, a leading- citizen of Bnlawayo, killed a native who was accused of indecency towards his littlo girls. WOODLUPINE MURDER. . i SUSPECTED MAN ARRESTED. By Telecraph-Pross Associatton-Oopyriirtat (Rec. May 21, I.W a.m.) Perth, May 23. The man Smithson, who is wanted on a charge of murdering Francis Elizabeth Compton, tho 18-year-old daughter of an English immigrant, at Woodhipinc, on May 13, has .been captured in tho bush near Elsternwick, a hundred miles north of Perth. The man is being brought down by train to Perth.
