NEW ZEALAND ATTITUDE.

London, May 17. The annual report of the Central Emi gration Bonril states that 136 emigrants were settled in Australia in 1910, but only one in Now Zealand, where the board was unable to arrange for the placing of emigrants. In consequence of this, tho board was" not encouraging applicants who wished to emigrate to New Zealand, unless they were farmers or had friends to receive them. Subscriptions and donations received amounted to .£270, and office and management expenses to £165.
