She berths at the Glasgow Wharf to complete Home loading, and sails at daybreak on Friday for London. Tho vessel is scheduled to reach her destination on Juno 27—in ample time for her wool' to catch the July sales. While here she will take in 1500 tons of Wcstport coal for bunkers. lONIC ARRIVES TO-DAY. About noon to-day the Shaw-Savill steamer lonic is expected to arrive at Wellington from London, via way ports. She will berth at the Kirnr's Wharf to land passengers, and discharge 34C0 tons of Wellington cargo. A notico to consignees appears in another part of this issue. TAINUI, FOR HOME. R.M.S. Tainui's sailing time has been altered from . noon to 3 p.m.. to-morrow. At that hour she leaves tho Glasgow Wharf for London, via way ports. Word has been received intimating that the Australasian Wirolet.6, Ltd., arc about to proceed with the lilting up of wireless apparatus on board tho steamers Wiuimcra, Victoria, and Wostralia. Some changes affecting officers in tho Union Company's licet are announced — Captain Collins, master of tho Monowai. takes R.M.S. Aorangi across to Sydney, and there hands her over to Captain Evans, R.N.R. Mr. Ferguson, late chief officers of R.M.S. I Maitai, is now chief of the Aorangi, and Mr. 11. S. Cox. late second of the Mararoa, has signed on as second. In all proba- ' bility Mr. W. Rogers, late third officer of the Makura and Corinna respectively, will join the Aorangi in a similar capacity. lie signed oil the Corinna yesterday. Mr. W. J. Gibson (late Taviuni) has joined tho Aorangi a3 second engineer, Mr. F. liilson (lato Maitai) as third, .Mr. A. Smith (late Mararoa) as fourth, nnd Mr. F. O. Morath as sixth. Mr. L. Davies has relieved Mr. Smith an fourth engineer ou the Mararoa, nnd Mr. • Cromarty has relieved Mr. Rogers as third officer of the Corinna. Consequent upon Mr. Cox leaving the Mararoa, Mr. Hislop (third officer) has been promoted a step. Mr. E. G. Stafford, who has lately joined the Union Company's service, has been appointed third officer of the vessel. • The keel of .the new steamer for Lake Wakatipu will be laid by Messrs. M'Gregor and Co.'s foundry, Duncdiu, in a few days. It is expected also that a new steamer for the Clutha River will be launched in about a month. While at Sydney this trip R.M.S. Aorangi will be docked for cleaning and paintinrr Tho Moura is also to bo docked at Duncdiii shortly. As stated previously the barque Countess of Aiigtesea has been purchased hy the Union Company, and is to bo used as a hulk at Auckland. She is now on her last voyage from Newcastle to Auckland. ,'
