THE OTAGO TOURNAMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Dunedin, May 16. The Otago Boxing Association's tournament concluded .to-night,-when tho following bouts wore decided :— Feather-weights.—Final: .M. Leckie beat A. Lane. . Novice (9st. 71b.).—Semi-final: E. Brownlie beat J. Caulitfe; R. Andrews, a bye. Final: Andrews .won by default, Brownlio being unable to competo owing to an injured hand. Middle-weights.—Final: B. Finio heat P. Lister. Novice (lOst. OlbO.-Semi-fiual: C. Edwards beat W. Moir; J. Munro, a bye. Final. Edwards beat jlunro. / Light-weights— Semi-final: W. North beat R. J. Young; IF. Leckie, a bye. Final: North beat Leckie. Heavy-weights.—Semi-final: N. Moloney boat P. ll'Quarric; E. Smith, a bye. Final: Moloney beat Smith.

THE WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the AYollington Boxing Association was held on Monday evening. There were present: Messrs. .E. Yv. M'Villy (in the chair), Bridge. Guise, Laurenson, Day, Blundell, Fordham. Smith.. Staples, Dr. Napier M'Lean, and tho secretary (Mr. W. G. Talbot).

Messrs. 11. Nelson and F. Owen wrote accepting position as vice-presidents, and Mr. Wilford accepting position as solicitor to the association.

"Sailor" Duffy wrote asking for a match while in the Dominion. Tho secretary reported that, as far as could bo seen, the only available date at the Opera House was June 12. The matter was left over in order, that Mr. Blundell might ascertain what date could be got. A suggestion was made that Duffy should be matohed with Arthur Kelly, who at present was touring the Dominion with "Davo" Smith.

I). Murphy wrote regarding affording him a match. It was agreed that he be informed that just now the association could not accommodate him, but his name would be kept in view, and the association would consider him versus Tracy "as soon as the latter was ablo to meet him.

"Pave" Smith notified that he was touring the Dominion, and v;ould give displays (including exhibition rounds) with Arthur Kelly. He asked for permssion for the latter. It wjis agreed that he bo permitted to do this provided his dates did not clash with anything which tho association might have in Wellington, and also that exhibition bouts be limited to four rounds.

Tho Wellington Exhibition inquired as to the chances of the association putting on boxing at the stadium which they proposed erecting in conjunction with the exhibition. Messrs. Marryatt and Partridge waited on the association in regard to the matter. After a long discussion as to the probability of the project being successful, it was agreed that members should view the building-, and thou meet to further discuss the matter on Friday.

The question of this year's provincial championships was left in abeyance in the meantime.

Tho New Zealand Council asked for suggestions: and as to any methods of judging by points, and the matter was left for Dr. Napier M'Lean to report on. It was agreed to add' "Jack" Clarko to the list of professionals claiming tho association's consideration. • Regarding the recommendation of tho .animal meeting that, the subscription and membership be increased, it was decided that a special meeting be called forthwith to pnt this bofore members for consideration. HOCKEY. TEAMS FOR TO-DAY'! The following team will represent tho Hereawa Hockey Club against Post and Telegraph, at Duppa Street to-day:— Bruce, M'Dowell, Dowling, Gamble, C'lcmentson, Brown, Caterer, Henderson. Kuch. Jahn. Crasg. Emergencies—lrvine, Tippling, Trim.
