MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Wellington Hospital-and Charitable Aid Board was hold yesterday, there being present: Tho chairman (Kev. W. A. Evans), Miss Richmond, and Messrs. D. Dr. Young,' of Ihe honorary slaff, was granted six months' leave of absence, and it was also agreed that the position of lion, surgeon (locum tenons) be offered to Dr. M'Lean. Provision was authorised to bo made for a tenuis court for tho use of tho nursing staff, in lieu of that taken for tho site of tho Children's Hospital. The renovation of the shop corner, Hos-pital-Adelaide Road, was left in tho hands of Mr. Trevor and tho house steward to deal with. According to the April statistical report for the Olaki Hospital and Sanatorium, the figures showed that during the month six patients had been admit•ted to the hospital, three discharged, while one had died, there being now ih the institution 0 male and 2 fomnlo patients; ■! poticnls had been admitted to tho sanatorium, and a discharged, llicro being now 12 male and It female patients under treatment at the institution.
