The former tried to arrest the latter, who defied him. Tho insurrectionists took sices, and a conflict was threatened. Peace, however, was restored, ft is believed tho dispute involved the life of General Navarro, the Federal general captured recently. Navarro was secretly sent to El Paso by order of Madero. Navarro is suspected of cruelty in previous battles. Tho rebels have occupied Canan;a and Sonora, and threaten Nogaks.
