THE WALNUT PIPE LINE. Surveys for the new two million gallon storage reservoir lo be constructed between Nairn Street and Brooklyn in connection with the scheme of duplication of the YVainui main have been completed. Plans arc now being prepared for the work. Arrangements are being made for suitable depots along the route of the Wainui pipe line for the storage of pipes. A shipment of pipes for the duplication works is due to arrive In-day by the lonic. It is anticipated that a start will be made with the work of doubling the pipe line about the middle of next month. ~~
