THE FIGHTING AT FEZ.
SHOPS LOOTED.
FRENCH TROOPS ADVANCING. By TeleeraDh— Press Association-Copyrichi (Rec. May It, 5.5 p.m.) May 13. During the recent attack by tho Morccctin rebels on Fez, gangs of ruffians looted tho shops and several persons were killed.
The rebels have informed Mulai Hand that if ho will abdicate, Europeans will not be harmed.
■Colonel Gomnand, with two battalions, has reached Elkunitva.
Major Boulard's column, which is escorting a convoy of 2100 camels, compiiscs 3000 men, including natives.
The French advance is having aa inspiring effect at Fez and among the Government troops.
