MEXICAN REBELS WIN
JUAREZ SURRENDERS. MADERO STILL WILLING TO TREAT FOR PEACE. AMMUNITION CAPTURED. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyrieht (Rec. May 12, 0.25 a.m.) Mexico City, May 11. The town of Juarez, the scene of yesterday's battle, has been formally surrendered by the troops to the insurgents. General Navarro, the Federal commander, has been made captive. General Madero, tho revolutionary leader, has agaiu announced that he is still ready to treat for peace on the terms previously offered. The dead on both sides do not exceed one hundred. Two hundred men were wounded in the battle. The rebels have captured much ammunition and several machine guns. REINFORCEMENTS ARRIVE, Mexico City, May 10. The rebels won in the fighting at Juarez. Reinforcements are arriving, and the retreating Federals may be caught by the insurrectors marching to assist General Madero. Estimates of the killed and wounded are rising. Fifty-six Federals were killed at Satilla.
