LOCAL OPTION LAW.

INTERESTING POINT RAISED. By Tclccraph-Press Association-Copyricht (Rec. May 11, 7.40 p.m.) Sydney, May 11. The Full Court to-day reserved judgment in an important case arising out of the late local option poll. At the 1907 election the Leichhardt electors had voted for reduction, but at the Inst election reversed that decision, and voted for continuance. The point at issue is whether the last vote nullified the previous vote, and gave the hotels voted out in 1907 the right to keep open. The case in a test one. Altogether 172 hotels are affected, representing property valued at nearly .£IOO,OOO.
