LADY GLADSTONE'S SCHEME. By Telegraoh—Press Association—Oopyrieht (Hec. May 8, 11.5 p.m.) Cape Town, May t. Lady Gladstone, wifo of tho GovernorGeneral, through tho press and local authorities throughout South Africa, is appealing for ,£IOO,OOO to establish an order of nurses as a memorial to King Edward. Subscriptions from coloured persons and natives will be kept separate, and devoted to tho training of coloured and native nurses at Lovedale, Capo Colony.
