Lady Gladstone, wifo of tho GovernorGeneral, through tho press and local authorities throughout South Africa, is appealing for ,£IOO,OOO to establish an order of nurses as a memorial to King Edward. Subscriptions from coloured persons and natives will be kept separate, and devoted to tho training of coloured and native nurses at Lovedale, Capo Colony.
