TRAM DUTY ROSTERS.
Christchurch, May 8. There is still trouble in tho Christ* church tramway service. Sonic lime ago a deputation from the men's union waited on the board's officers to discuss tho rotation of duties, and as tin outcome a new roster was prepared, which tho deputation thought would moot the grievances. When the roster was posted, howover, tho men objected and .the settlement agreed to by 'the deputation was rejected. A mass meeting of the men was hold a,t midnight on Saturday, when •the pressrepresentatives were prcsc.nl. No very definite grievances were stated, but it was decided to ask the Trades and Labour Council and the Mayor to wait on tho Tramway Board regarding the position.
