j TEN MONTHS* I'IGUKES. ;■ ,Both the sales of wool in New Zealand i and tho exports of wool from tlio Dominion have been less in tho ten months ended April 30 than they were in the jorrespondiiig months of 1909-10. All jho.- centres show decreases in the sales for the period, and only Auckland and I' invercargill show increased offerings. ; During April last 1051, hales were offered and 1015 sold. Theie was no offer- ■ ing at Invercargill; .-t Dunedin 105 bales were offered and ti'i sold; at Timaru 44 bales were offered and 39 sold; Christ- ; , church disposed of the 226 bales offered; at Wellington 262 bales was the quantity I . offered and'23(3 bains the'quantit)'sold; ! ' the highest offerings and sales were at Napier, whore the respective quantities wero 274 and 269 bales; Gisborne made I no offering; and at Auckland 140 bales were brought forward and disposed of. i The offerings during the ten months have been 250,723 bales. Of that quan- | city 216,458 have been sold., lii tho pre- . vious ten months the offerings were 81,375 bales greater, and tho sales 40,912 - bales more. So far thisscason the largest offering has been made in Christchurch, whereas last year Wellington • headed ths list. Following are detailed particulars of tho quantities sent forward for sale, tho figures in parentheses refei' to the earlier of the two periods:— i , Invercargill, 20,518-bales (19,573 bales); Dunedin, -11,101 (44,147); Timaru, 23,063 (26,750); G'hristchurch, 54,984 (55,725); Wel- ; lington, 51,387 (60,075); Napier, 39,287 I- (52,597); Gisborne, 2941 (6755); and Auckland,' 17,-442 (16.393); totals, 250.723 (282,198).
