Bluff—N.W., light; barometer, 30.28; thermometer, 57. Fair; sea smooth. SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Very high pressure has ruled in all parts of the Dominion. Fine weather by day and cold and frosty weather at nights have prevailed. The winds have been variable, but Ftrong easterly winds are reported in the far north to-day, with gloomy weather. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, and especially in the northern districts. Rain and cloudy weather is probable northward of East Capo and Kawhia. and increasing haze uiid cloudiness* with somewhat warmer weather elsewhere.
