A NEW BOOK.
Sir,—lt is some, little time since I was at school, but I do not ever remember having hoard there of the wonderful book which is lauded so highly in your issue of Saturday. It sounds as if it were an old book, seeing it is its tercentenary that is being celebrated, but to those who have, passed and are passing through tho schools of the. Dominion it must be something new.. I can hardly imagine it being old, but if it is now there is some excuse, for tho Riitliorities not placing it in the schools until its literary worth is proved by. it few years subjection to criticism. What is the Book, anyhow? Is it a history, a geography, biography, or a codo of morals? What's wrong with it that wo should never have heard of it? Can you toll me are tho booksellers prohibited from selling it to children of tender years? I should like- to know moro about n book that causes such a furore; that all the world arc making such n fuss about, and yet is withheld from the rising generation.—l am, etc.. "IN QUEST OF INFORMATION."
