(From Our Snecial CorresDondenL) Councillor Piper has given notice of motions to bo moved by him at tlio meeting of the Pctono Borough Council, to ho held on Monday next: —(1) That a recreation ground and reserve committees bo appointed, consisting of Councillors Hrockclbank, Trueman, Burridge, and the mover. (2) That Councillors Lodder, Cox, List, and the mover be a gas and waterworks committee. (3) That at eacli monthly meeting of the work's and finance committee a clear statement of rovenuo and expenditure- on all accounts bo laid upon tho table. (4) That all recommendations of new works be brought down in a separate report, and that, where practicable, an approximate estimate of cost shall be given, and each item of sucii report shall form the subject of a separate vote, and record. (5) That all employees or officers of. this council, who are in receipt of moro than £150 per annum, be prohibited from undertaking any outside work, or service, for vrfiich payment is made.
