An int-prps-ting licensing case, was heard! in the Magistrate's Court this afterncou,' when Samuel Kcedwell, manager of tho Grey town branch of the W.F.C.A., was charged with failing to furnish tho Clerk of the Court with the sufficient address of two persons to whom liquor was supplied. Evidence for the prosecution was given to the cli'ect that in one case tho liquor had been returned as addressed to "A Hayes, Masterton." As a result of the insufficient address tho police were unablo to (nice the person to whom tho liquor was supplied for some days. His Worship enteral .1 conviction on Hie first charge, but imposod no ppnalty. In regard to tho second offence a fine of 20a, and I!)?, costs was imposed. J aiucs Harris, a lad arrested last night, was charged to-day with breaking, cntcrius, and (heft. Ho was remanded until Friday. A large assortment of Roods has l:wn recovered from tho loft of (ho Misd in which the boy had been sleep. ins. Mr. VI. L.
