THE THORNDON CHURCH. The annual meeting of the Thorndon Methodist Church was held in the school, room last night,, and was made an occasion for welcoming the Rev. t. U. uuis, who s aclins as minister of the church (luring the twelve months absence of Hie Rev T. Fee. The Rev. E. 0. Blajnires nrnsiflpd over a good attendance, and was Lppo. ted bv the Kev. C. H. Olds, and thn-Rev. J. Ward. , • The annual report (which has already been summarised in Tins D«ma<w),wM read by Mr. W. Walton, and adopted. The new minister was welcomed by the chairman, by the Rev. J. Ward, and by officer!of the church, and speakers representing the different Church organisations, namely, Messrs. Worboys (circuit Moxhain (society stoward), W. \\ mton (tru tees), Burd (choir), Joseph (Ivaiwarra), Sims (Sunday School), and Boyd (B lh e o?Wft M» «ply,- congratulated the Church on the success of the anniversary Gatherings.
