..The Wellington Choral Society, now in its,seventh year of.existence,..maintains a solid reputation for the..excellence of its work, and the public, always accords it in consequence a gratifying reception. Mr. Harold E. S. Browning, of Melbourne, is to undertake the bass solos and he will lw heard to advantage in tho principal bass .-010, "Rolling on Foaming Billows." Mrs. Gower Burns, of Christchurch, will sing the soprano role, and many will bo glad to hoar her in "With Ycr'dure Glad." while the tenor part has been allotted to Mr. E. J. Hill, of this city. The final full rehearsal will l>o held in the Town Hall to-morrow night at 8 o'clock, when a full attendance is expected. Visitors will not be admitted to 'the rehearsal. A glance at the box plan shows that a largo audience will be present. The Dresden Company have a number of one shilling tickets for. sale as well as.threes and twos. Tho performance on Friday night will commence sharp at 8, and the doors will bo open at 7.15. Parts one and two only are being performed.
