MUNICIPAL ASSOCIATION REPORT. The-executive of the- Brooklyn Municipal Electors' .Association, in their third annual report, state that the existence of the association continues to be fully justiacd, although much has been attempted which has not yet been Eccpmjjlished. Ti\o executive reports little progress in the -matter of recreation grounds, and states that the gieat need of onen spaces for the youth of the populous Brooklyn district is u pressing one. The Baths Committee ot the City Council had promised to obtain a report on the subject of public baths for Brooklyn, but nothing further hnd been heard of the matter. Streets will require a good 'deal of nC.ention during the winter. It is honed that as soon as drainage connections are commoted in 'he main streets, the footpaths in these streets will be asphalted. In the interests ot the business portion of Brooklyn something must bo done to abate the dust nuisance before nest summer, l-'iie alarms have now been erected in various portions of the district, which v,-iu increase the efficiency of the fire brigade, which, tha executive states, dssorves every credit for its-continued Rood work. The committee had urged unon the Postal Dspsrtment that tho expansion of the district necessitated the erection of r.n up-to-date post office building. It is understood that the question is now tuuier consideration. Concluding, the committee-ihi-.iiks members for the confidence reposed in it, and advises ir.einl.-er* to stick to the association, as its efforts, suoported by those of Councillor Frcst, have not been entirely in vain.
