THE REFERENDA POLL.

HOW THE LABOUR VOTE WENT. By Telesraph-Pijess Association-Copyricht Sydney, May 2. The Acting-Stato Premier (Jlr. Hoiman) points out that at the last State elections there were 283,000 Labour votes recorded, whereas there were only 128,000 "yes" votes cast for the Referenda proposals. It is apparent from this that 160,000 Labour votes were given against the proposals, or that that number of Labour people did not vote at all., This is .V significant fact, says Jlr. Holman, and certainly a matter for consideration by the Labour leaders. Melbourne, May 2. Mr. Fisher (Federal Prime Minister) received the news of the result of the Referenda when he was at Port Said, en route for London.
