The constables who made the canvass for the Legislative Assembly rolls in the Kyneton -district of Victoria came upon about a score of peoples who refused to fill in the forms. Letters received at the head office from the objectors showed that they Considered legislators usurpers of Divine right, and lield it to be spiritually wrong either to vote or permit themselves to be enrolled. Incidentally they mentioned that they thought military service equally improper, and to escape the State electoral law and tlio Federal military law they proposed to leave Australia. The I'remiei directed tne police to call again on 'Hie objectors, ami, if they still refused to enter up the forms, to set the law in motion for the recovery of fines. The constables found that two of these conscientious objectors were 011 the point of r|iiitting the State, and that the other? were following them.
