PREFERENCE TO FARMERS. By Telegraph—Press Association-Oopyrieht Washington, April 30. In the House of Representatives, tho Democrats secured preference to farmers in the Free List Bill. They believe they will carfy the Bill in a week's time. The Democrats accused the Republicans of being the working man's enemy, and bringing hordes of foreigners to America in order to get cheaper labour.
