CORONATION EXHIBITION.

STALL-BUILDING STARTED. The Harbour Board's "J" . and "U" stores arc beginning to hum with industry in anticipation of tho Coronation Exhibition, which is to be opened on May 2i. A start has been made with tho erection of a new entrance at the southern end of "U" shed—the point nearest the tramway stopping-place; and a staging is being laid down which will form the floor of the annexe or link that is to make the two great stores one. In "J" shed tho men arc still at work covering tho concrots floor with Ncuchatel asphalt. Raised platforms have already been erected at tho back of the concert hall and in the gallery, which will ensure a fair view of the stage for everybody. The only deterrent is the presence of half a dozen huge reinforced iron pillars in the hall, which will take some manoeuvring to avoid. In "U" shod exhibitors have already commenced to build their stalls. A fine central site has been sccured 'by tho Wellington Gas Company, which is already well forward with the erection of its stall. Other exhibitors are on tho alert, and it is safe to assert that by the end of the week the place will be a hive of industry.
