THREE HUN.OEED CASUALTIES. By Telczraptt—Press Association-Oopyrielit ' Peking, April 28. The Canton riot originated owing to the arrest of a supposed revolutionary. There were 300 casualties. A steamer with . one hundred refugees, mostly women, has reached Hong-Kong. PROTECTION OF AMERICANS. ' (Rec. May 1, 0.30 a.m.) Canton, April 30. In connection with the rioting at .Canton, the gunboat Wilmington has been ordered from Hong-Kong to Canton for the protection of American residents.
