DESPERATE FIGHT.
THE MOROCCO CAMPAIGN. FRENCH ATTACKED. FIFTEEN KILLED AND TWENTY WOUNDED. By Telegraph-Press Association-OoDyrient (Rec. April 30, 5.5 p.m.) Madrid, April 29. The "Herald" has received a telegram from Nemours, in Algeria, stating that tho tribes attacked a French column which was advancing on Tazza. Desperate fighting took place, fifteen .Frenchmen being killed and twenty wounded. POSITION AT FEZ. FRENCH MAKING FORCED MARCHES. Tangier, April 29. Fifteen hundred Tazza horsemen reached Fez on Saturday for the purpose of helping the Sultan. Later reports state. that Major Bremond's force is intact. It has arrived close to Fez. The French column from Casablanca, which is making forced marches, is now within fifty miles of Fez. Paris, April 29. Advice has been received that while Colonel Mangen'3 force is not strong enough to attempt a sortie, it is able to hold Fez for some time. GENERAL MONIER'S COLUMN. • Paris, April 28. General Monier's column for the relief 6f Fez has reached Rabat. THE LATEST, BREMONO'S COLUMN REACHES FEZ. (Rec. May 1, 0.30 a.m.) Tangier, April 30. Major Bremond's column entered Fez on April 2G, having gallantly fought its way through the rebels.
