In connection with the action brought by the Law Guarantee Trust's valuer, Francis Joseph Ronald, against tho newspaper "John Bull" for alleging his incompetence, and that he had been responsible for the losses of the trust (which is now in process of being wound up); also that he had been appointed because ho was the general manager's son, the plaintiff, under cross-examina-tion, admitted that his brother, his brother-in-law, and two other relatives by marriage had been employed in his department of the trust's business. The articlo on which the libel action is based was published in "John Bull" on July 16 last.
