It is announced that a service will bo held in St. I'aul's Cathedral, London, when the King and Queen visit the eitv on Juno 20. Empire on Juno 21 in connection with tho Day of Intercession for tho King and Queen and nation, arranged for by tho Evangelical Alliance, have been issued. Among those, who have promised to speak arc tho Bishops of London, Durham, Liverpool, Ripon, and Dcrry, Prebendary Wcbb-Pcploo, tho Rev. Dr. Jas. Robertson, the Rev. Dinsdalo T. Young, tho Rev.. Charles Brown, and "Gipsy" Smith. The Archbishop of Canterbury has expressed his warm approval of this Day of Intercession. The Bishop of London spoko for nearly an hour at a crowded of the Clergy Homo Mission Union, held at Sion College ■ recently. Taking as his subject "High Church and Low Church," lie expressed the wish that tho terms might bo abolished for over. Ho cherished tho hope that a day would come when he might sco all typos of Churchmen in the dioceso drawn toi oretlicr in closer unity, fighting under one flag against a common foe. It was his desiro to interpret tho opinions nf one party to the other, that they might ; see how much they had in common with each other, and come to underi stand each other better.
