THE WAR IN MOROCCO
BLOODTHIRSTY TRIBESMEN. THREATS OF MASSACRE, By Telccraph—Press Association-Copyrieht (Rcc. April 27, 11.5 p.m.) Tangier, April 27. At the Government's instance, and owing to the critical situation at Fez, Major Bremond, without waiting for a convoy, money, food, or ammunition from Alcazur, retreated towards Fez, with his Moorish troops pushing through the Uledjumma Country. Major Brcinond reports that the European military instructors are in good health, and adds, although his Mehalln fought with much discipline and decision, the tribesmen from the Sherarda district were bolder, being animated with an antiforeign sentiment. They intend to 'massacre all falling into their hands. General Jlonier in three weeks' time will have 23,000 troops at Casablanca.
