This ceremony, winch will be accompanied by a gorgeous display such as can only bo arranged in the colour-loving East, lias been fixed to take place in the ancient walled capita! of the JJughul Empire—the City of the Ten December 12 next lho visit of his Majesty to India will bo a historical event of the utmost importance. That people will bo attracted from all, parts of tho world is only to be expected. Several prominent Now Zealanders- have already made arrangements .to-visit Delhi for the great festival. Tho l>. 'and 0. Company are to make holiday concessions to those leaving by steamers sailing from Sydney On October 7 and 21, and November 4 Tlicso tickets will be made available for six i months.
