PUHIPUHI MURDER CASE.
_ ■■■ PRISONER INDIFFERENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ' Whangaroi, April 24. Tahi Kaka has been remanded to April 26 on the charge of murdering John Freeman at Puhipuhi on or about April 5. The inquest has been resumed, and a number of Native witnesses have given evidence, generally verifying Kaka's sudden acquisition of wealth and the lavish spending on himself and others a few days after the supposed date of the murder.
The prisoner still appears callously indifferent
