On November 4 George- Blanchett, aged 80, a resident of Motueka,' left Nelson for Wellington by tho steamer Nikau, and .has not since been heard of. Fisher was seen to fall on the footpath in Hill Street. As he made no movement after falling Dr. Young was summoned to tho scene, but could only pronounce life extinct. There were no marks on deceased, excepting a small cut on the forehead, the result of the fall. Deceased was a married, man G9 years of ago, residing at 219 Tinakori Road, and employed at M'Leod, Hopkirk and Weir's timber mills in the city. His wife is an inmate of the yictor'ia Home, and he has a married daughter residing in Wellington South. An inquest will be held to-day.
