At the blood stock sales to-day the imported thoroughbred stallion Bright Stwl (St. Simon—Glare) was passed in at 1025 guineas, and Son of the Marsh (Wi)dfiownr—Loo's Prjde) was also passed in at 800 guineas. On account of Messrs. Price and Nottlefokl, the Xew Zoaland-brcd Pink 'tin (Strowan—Manutuke) was sold for 800 guineas. Mr. G. P. Donnelly's mare Lady Cecilo realised 300 guineas, ond Kilmorey (Kihvarlin— Union) 135 guineas. Mr. G. M. Curric, of New Zealand, purchased tho maro Roscommon for 373 guineas.

Ormond. of Hawke's Bay, a sister to Pariila (B'irkcnlicad —Maluri) was sold for 60;iiis. LADY MEDALLIST SOLD. (Rcc. , April 25, 0.30 a.m.) Sydney, April 24. At the sales to-day, Mr. Noud, of Ramlwick, acting for a client, bought Lady Medallist, tlio price being one thousand guineas. [Lady. Medallist (St. Alwynne— Diploma) was owned by Mr. J. B. Reid, fno well-known New Zealand sportsman, and was recently sent over to Sydney to measure strides, with the cracks there. Sho was unsuccessful, but van well on one occasion, securing third place in a. mile and a half race to Comedy King and Trafalgar.
